Extractor

Many bulk materials are extracted from silos or other containers using suction conveying and transported through pipelines. Just as important as good metal detection is the question of how the detected metal residues can be ejected from this type of suction conveying system. The extractor combines several advantages here. Firstly, there is a tightly closing switch flap which reliably ejects metal residues and does so without any loss of pressure or vacuum in the conveying line. A second special feature is that the material passes through a cyclone, which achieves a very small installation size because the distance between the metal sensor and the flap is artificially increased to the necessary length. To ensure that all particles are reliably ejected from the material flow, the entire cyclone and the diverter are flushed with compressed air during each ejection process. The metal itself is detected by the proven metal sensors and evaluation electronics Digital2, MESEP or M-Pulse2pro.
